Conference Interpreters for Companies and Institutions
Simultaneous interpreting: in a booth, with a tour guide system or whispered
Simultaneous interpreters render speech into another language almost in real time. They listen, understand and speak at the same time – working from interpreting booths, with a tour guide system or simply by whispering.
Conference interpreters
Conference interpreters specialise in simultaneous interpreting at international events. As a rule, a team of two interpreters works per language direction, in soundproof booths that are either permanently installed or set up for your event.
Consecutive, whispered or in conversation
Consecutive interpreting
The interpreter renders what has been said after the speaker has finished a few sentences or a longer passage. For small groups, no equipment is needed.
Whispered interpreting (chuchotage)
Simultaneous interpreting for one or two listeners without equipment – or, with a tour guide system, for groups of up to about 20 people.
Negotiation interpreting
Also called liaison interpreting: short passages are interpreted in both directions, without equipment – ideal for negotiations and business talks.
Remote interpreting by video or phone
International video conferences, web meetings and hybrid events are part of everyday business. As soon as the content gets technical, professional interpreters are indispensable. We know how remote interpreting works smoothly and which technology it needs.
Interpreting tailored to your needs
Our interpreters specialise in a wide range of techniques, occasions and subject areas.
Advice on interpreting
We advise you which form of interpreting is right for your event – simultaneous, consecutive, whispered or remote – and organise the equipment you need.
Interpreting for every occasion
An international conference, a board meeting, a press conference or negotiations with international partners: every situation calls for its own approach. We provide conference and negotiation interpreters with the right experience.
Interpreting in all subject areas
At a supervisory board meeting, an annual general meeting or in arbitration proceedings, every word counts. That is why we work with interpreters who specialise in different fields, including medicine and law.
