About us
SIMCONSULT was founded in Hamburg in 1996 by experienced conference interpreters and has been trading as SIMCONSULT Sprachendienst GmbH since October 2011. We put together interpreting teams for companies and institutions – for conferences, board and supervisory board meetings, negotiations and arbitration, on site, hybrid or remote.
Cross-border communication only succeeds when everything around the language is right as well: the right team, the right equipment, careful planning and preparation.
That is where we come in. We advise you, put together the team, organise the equipment and are your point of contact from the first enquiry to the event.
How we select interpreters
Qualification
We work exclusively with conference interpreters who have several years of professional experience. Many are members of AIIC, the international association of conference interpreters.
Native speaker principle
We deploy interpreters whose mother tongue is the target language. If interpreting is from German into English, the interpreter's mother tongue is English.
Specialisation
Our interpreters specialise in fields such as business and banking, medicine, media, the environment and technology. For every client, we systematically build up the necessary expertise.
References
Our interpreters work at conferences, board and supervisory board meetings, negotiations and arbitration proceedings. Much of the content of these events is confidential. We therefore ask for your understanding that we do not publish a client list.
