SIMCONSULT was established in Hamburg in 1996 as a registered partnership company by Susan Fergusson-Günther and George Drummond, both conference interpreters. The aim was to provide our clients with a one-stop-shop for comprehensive, top quality communication solutions.
Our customers benefit from having a competent partner who can be reached at any time, offering interpreting and translation services and advising on interpreting equipment.

The SIMCONSULT founders
The founders and partners of SIMCONSULT are Susan Fergusson-Günther and George Drummond, both freelance conference interpreters. In the course of their careers they have interpreted at the highest level for heads of state, heads of government, politicians, royalty, company executives, scientists, film and sports celebrities and artists. In addition to their regular work for institutions such as the European Patent Office and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in Hamburg, the partners interpret at a wide variety of meetings, conferences, congresses, trade fairs and European works councils.
Owing to their many years of experience as conference interpreters the partners know how important it is for the success of a meeting to have the correct combination of interpreter teams and the appropriate interpreting equipment. Making this knowledge available to our clients and thus contributing to the success of an event was one of the primary reasons that prompted Susan Fergusson-Günther and George Drummond to establish the SIMCONSULT partnership.
Susan Fergusson-Günther and George Drummond are members of AIIC, the only international professional association of conference interpreters, and are therefore part of a global network.
